Our Story
From a young age, Kirk Hanson aspired to become a master carpenter. Learning the fundamentals of remodeling while working with his stepfather's company, Kirk moved to the Okanagan in 2004 to begin his apprenticeship on a remarkable 30,000 square foot modern castle project, now featured on Netflix's 'The Secret Millionaire'.
After completing his apprenticeship and building several more world-class projects as a lead hand with his former employer, Kirk had the tools to found Born Builders in 2016.
Today, we celebrate our journey that has united us with an astounding community of clients, staff, and trade associates. We remain committed to being industry innovators, making spaces about the people who inhabit them.
