Our Story
From a young age, Kirk Hanson aspired to become a master carpenter. Learning the fundamentals of remodeling while working with his stepfather's company, Kirk moved to the Okanagan in 2004 to begin his apprenticeship on a remarkable 30,000 square foot modern castle project.
After completing his apprenticeship and advancing to lead hand, Kirk founded Born Builders in 2016. He was soon joined by his mentor and former foreman, a carpenter with 40 years of experience, creating a partnership that combines innovation with time-tested expertise.
Today, we celebrate our journey that has united us with an astounding community of clients, staff, and trades associates. We remain committed to being industry innovators, making spaces about the people who inhabit them.
